Her Nursing Process Theory revolves around the nurse, patient, and perception and how the system utilizes nursing processes to bring about a positive outcome in patients. The theory provides a precise definition of nursing roles. The purpose of this paper is to provide a background of the theorist and acquaint Family Nurse Practitioner with the theory. Also, the article will illustrate the deliberate use of the theory to improve patients’ condition and demonstrate nursing practice in a primary care setting.
