How To Delete italki Account Permanently

Step 1: Sign In via Web Browser
Deletion is only available on the desktop or mobile browser version, not through the italki app. Make sure you’re logged in with the account you wish to delete.

Step 2: Open Settings
Click on your profile picture or username at the top-right of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select Settings.

Step 3: Navigate to Privacy
On the left-hand sidebar, click Privacy. This tab is where you’ll find account visibility options and the deactivation feature.

Step 4: Start the Deactivation Process
Scroll to the bottom of the Privacy section. You’ll see an option labeled Account Deactivation. Click the Deactivate button to proceed.
